The Marvel collection of good guys.
Do all movies about superheros get you to the theater faster than a speeding bullet? This one should, the Avengers brought in lots of folks to the box office the opening weekend. last year “Green Lantern” comics, stickers and other merchandising was in place for an amazing success but the audience just shrugged. Christopher Nolan’s “Batman” series was a nicer bit of cinemetography than the 1990′s versions and “Wolverine” was an outright just a good movie because Wolverine is awesome. Remember how Spider-Man 3 a was caught in the old web of the lame Hollywood production machine? Now…Biff…Bam…Whoosh… here comes “The Avengers,” and glad someone got back to whatever magic that gets superheros to please us on screen. Joss Whedon’s interpretation in regards to this collection of Marvel characters is about as nicely done as a superhero movie can get. It’s bursting with creativity and packed with clever dialogue. It is directed with comic fanatic exuberance and teeming with legendary comic-book icons such as Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, the Hulk, Black Widow, Hawkeye and Nick Fury.
